These adorable neck pieces are from Scarlet Carlson’s “My TOY Stories” Collection. they are filled with many nostalgic memories where one recalls back all the toys that were played during our days of youth. Toys and objects found in daily life, coming in its miniature size. These were created and designed to inject that lost fun into our present life again.
Some of these items are rare vintage pieces, and limited in its quantity.

The playground was our school, our imagination, our friend; life lessons were learnt through bruises gathered from knocking against colourful mosaic tiles, by scraping our knees falling on gritty sandpits, the feeling of sand between our toes.
It is an irony and pity that such innocent and spontaneous play-time is fading away as today’s society gets increasingly “safe” and “protected”. The architecture of these nostalgic playgrounds ultimately stands as public art installations – and even these are gradually disappearing from the Singapore landscape.
