Mr. Paul Smith made our day Today, our customer Janie bought this reindeer tin toy from our store and said it was a gift for Mr. Paul Smith, himself! And to our surprise, Janie returned back to our store with a signed note (actually our store’s paper bag) from him!! How this has made our day! This little note is now sandwiched in between our old copy of Paul Smith’s book titled, “You Can Find Inspiration in Everything - (And If You Can’t, Look Again)”. That photo is a page from that book showing Paul Smith and his best friend/wife, Pauline, circa 1970’s. He’s been a real inspiration during our design school days :) We were told that he’s currently in Singapore for his new store opening at Mandarin Gallery. We read that he’s quite like a visual junkie at heart, much like us, as you can see from the photos below of his office. We hope this reindeer sits well in his office!
